TRANSLATION
POLICY
It shall be the
policy of this component to provide written documentation to its members in
accordance with the following:
a) For all
Locals located west of

Locals located in the National Capital Region all documentation shall be
provided to those Locals and their membership in a bilingual format provided
that such format is available. In the
event that a bilingual format is not immediately available the contemplated
documentation shall be sent in the English language and a translated copy shall
be forwarded as soon as it becomes available.

Locals located in the

e) All
correspondence emanating from the Component National Office addressed to
"All Locals" shall be provided in a bilingual format.
f) All
correspondence, newsletters etc. that are mailed directly to a member shall be
sent in the language of preference provided that the National Office has the
language preference of that member. In
the event that a language preference is not available, the member shall receive
the above noted documentation as follows:
i) For all provinces and the Territories
excluding the

and English.

minutes of all National Council meetings shall be available in both French and
English.
j) Simultaneous
translation shall be provided for at all Triennial National Conventions of the
Natural Resources Union.
